Gun Girl Goals – Breaking through the barriers.

A year has passed since my last blog post and my love for clay shooting has certainly not diminished in this time; whether that be talking about it, thinking about it or pulling the trigger! In fact, it’s probably grown stronger! But I didn’t feel I had much more to offer anyone through my writing, until now… People who follow my progress on social media (or know me personally) may have seen that recently I’ve turned a bit of a corner with my approach to shooting, and this has been reflected in competition statistics. I seem to have found some consistency and I’ve had a few ‘successes’. This isn’t by accident; I’ve had to work hard towards my improvements and adapt my approach. But it was actually a rather personal ‘non shooting challenge’ I faced earlier in the year with a huge goal to achieve that has helped me on my way towards this sea change…

All of my life I've been told I've got a very expressive face and this has deemed to be true whilst I'm shooting! 2017 has been an awesome year for getting out with my gun...I've learnt a lot, visited many shooting grounds and been lucky to fire off a fair few cartridges, usually with a smile!
